CAMDEN HISTORY

CAMDEN SUBURBS, PLACES, OBJECTS and PEOPLE

Camden Museum Archives are full of articles and information on Camden's History written and typed on paper. One day as they are digitised or transcribed they may appear here.

Most of the articles here on Camden Suburbs were written by members of Camden Historical Society Research and Writers Group as entries for the Dictionary of Sydney Project. They are duplicated here for their significence to Camden History.

The volunteer writers researched the detail necessary for each locality from resources held at the Camden Museum. This includes the origin of the name, a short history, current developments, any special events, community organizations and other matters of importance.

More articles on Camden Suburbs, Places, Objects, People or any other subject will be added as they are written digitised or transcribed.
